Prime Estate Activities Kazakhstan (PEAK) is a commercial real estate development business of Kazakhstan Kagazy, which owns approximately 538 hectares of prime land, strategically located in a newly created industrial zone near Almaty, where it is developing, in stages, commercial warehouses and logistics facilities. The land is located near the main railway line to Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital city, and benefits from its own railway spur, as well as being close to the principal highway to Astana and one of the planned main intersections of the new outer ring toll road around Almaty.
The land has been earmarked for three developments:
- PEAK Logistics Centre (Phase I)
The PEAK Logistics Centre (Phase I) development, which has been completed in the end of June 2007, comprises a total of approximately 35,000 square metres of Class B warehousing and office space on a ten hectare plot of land. - PEAK Logistics Centre (Phase II)
The PEAK Logistics Centre (Phase II) development, which will be adjacent to PEAK Logistics Centre (Phase I), is expected to comprise a total of approximately 74,000 square metres of multi-storey Class A warehousing space and 2,000 square metres of office space on a 51.7 hectare site. - Paragon Industrial Park
Paragon Industrial Park will be developed in several stages on a site of approximately 568 hectares over the next five years. It is currently at the design and engineering stage. The Company expects the development to comprise an industrial park with zones for different industries, including industrial and logistics facilities, a retail, technology and business park and hotels, along with estate management.
