Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Kazakhstan Kagazy Plc, a Kazakh cardboard maker with real-estate assets, said profit rose 30 percent in the first half because of higher sales of packaging materials in Central Asia.
Net income advanced to $2.7 million and sales climbed 54 percent to $35.3 million, Almaty-based Kazakhstan Kagazy said in a statement distributed by the Regulatory News Service today. Comparative figures weren't given.
