Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Kazakhstan Kagazy Plc, a Kazakh cardboard maker with real-estate assets, posted a profit in the third quarter on surging domestic demand for paper. Net income was $8.45 million compared with a loss of $641,000 in the same period last year, Almaty-based Kagazy said in a statement distributed by Business Wire today. Sales climbed 85 percent to $23.6 million.
