The paper mill is located near Almaty. Kagazy Recycling LLP operates two paper machines, which produce recycled fibre-based test liner and fluting, each with a capacity of approximately 100 tonnes per day. In addition, Kagazy Recycling is in the process of installing a further paper machine with an annual capacity of 15,000 tonnes that will enable it to produce hygienic paper products. The Company has also recently installed a production unit to cut fine paper (offset and office paper) and cardboard into sheet formats. Kagazy Recycling plans to increase the capacity of two paper machines to a total of approximately 85,000 tonnes by 2012 and to approximately 150,000 tonnes per year by 2016 through continuing refinements to the existing production processes and equipment upgrades.
